  • 6 Awesome Ideas For Restaurant Marketing

Marketing a restaurant is the act of offering and showcasing your food services to the general public to win their business. That’s what builds up a restaurant brand.

Studies show that 86% of Millennials will try a new restaurant after seeing food-related content online.

So, marketing online is the strategy of how you engage with your customer base. There is a sequence of actions taken across multiple channels to reach your target audience.

Everyone knows that the customers are the bedrock of your restaurant business.  From regular customers to every staff member’s name to out-of-towners who stop to get wifi and end up thrilled with your hospitality and food, push your business forward.

That’s how restaurant marketing is so important: it helps you expand your community and find new customers.

Now the COVID-19 pandemic has made this even more crucial. In addition, customers’ expectations have changed, making it a challenge to compete with restaurants that have successfully adapted and pivoted operations to increase contactless experiences, safety, and digital food ordering.

Making strong customer relationships and providing an extraordinary dining experience will set you apart from your competitors.  So, the best place to start is to develop your restaurant marketing strategies.

Through advertisement, email campaigns, digital channels, and more, effective marketing makes all the difference in bringing foodies back again and again.

What are Inbound and Outbound Marketing?

Outbound marketing involves a proactive approach, reaching out to customers to get them interested in your product. By contrast, inbound marketing focuses on crafting and distributing content that draws people into your business or website. Research shows that up to 63% of consumers begin their shopping journey online.

Following are some more differences between both marketing techniques.

    Inbound Marketing:

    • Informative digital content targeted at specific audiences. It helps solve consumers’ problems.
    • Content comes in interactive forms, such as blogs, social media posts, webinars, reports, etc.
    • It is measurable through digital marketing software

    Outbound Marketing:

    • Non-digital content is designed to capture all customers’ attention and is written to sell specific products.
    • Passive content is displayed in billboards, direct mail, magazine ads, on TV, etc.
    • It has a linear strategy with limited channels

2 Amazing Benefits of Inbound Marketing

Here are 4 amazing benefits to inbound marketing that can help you determine if it’s the right strategy for your business:

    1. Inbound marketing is non-invasive; people can attend your webinar or read your blog posts on their own time.
    2. The content in inbound marketing is educational and specifically designed for the sales funnel.

    The Drawbacks of Inbound Marketing

Of course, inbound marketing isn’t for every business. Here are some challenges:

    • Inbound marketing content is centered on consumers’ evolving needs.
    • This type of marketing demands a holistic strategy, as you’ll need to buy tools to help you implement cross-channel campaigns.

    The Benefits of Outbound Marketing

Outbound marketing has the following benefits that should not be overlooked:

    • It promotes brand awareness, helping you reach customers who haven’t heard of your business or services before.
    • It can yield immediate results because people interested in your business or services are likely to make a purchase on your ads.

    The Drawbacks of Outbound Marketing

Here are a few disadvantages to following the outbound marketing route:

    • Outbound marketing is more generalized as it’s difficult to make it relevant or appealing to everyone.
    • Consumers tune out outbound marketing. For instance, many people mute the TV during ads.
    • To measure the effectiveness of outbound marketing strategies like billboards is really difficult.

Overall, outbound marketing is all about sending a message to everyone, while inbound marketing has a much-targeted focus.

How to discover the best keywords for restaurants?

Let me clarify one thing: this will not be another article about how to do keywords research. Instead, we’ll accelerate this whole process so you’ll get your own list of keywords for your restaurant by the end of it.

    AdWords for Restaurant Marketing

Simply, you set up some ads on Google and associate them with specific keywords that are closely related to your restaurant business or the services you offer.

So, if someone searches for a particular keyword that matches your keywords, the chances are that someone clicks on it, and your desired action happens on your website.

Let’s take a more practical example:

If you own an Italian restaurant, one of your main keywords is “pizza.”

You might think, when someone types “pizza” in the search bar, your restaurant ad will appear. Well, in many cases, they might want to seek “Pizza Image” or to find out more about a recipe or the history of pizza.

The outcome is, if you want to be effective with AdWords, you need to be specific with your keywords. In addition, you have to make sure that your ad is in accordance with what your customer wants.

So in the example mentioned above, it’s not a good idea to focus on the main keyword “pizza” to get orders, but long-tail keywords like:
“pizza delivery near me” or “best pizza in town” works better.

Having this in mind, I’ll help you uncover the specific keywords for your restaurant.

When you’re more specific and relevant, you’ll have to pay a lot less.

    Let’s get started.

How to get your list of restaurant keywords

    1. Go to Free AdWords Campaign Generator
    2. Put your restaurant name. If it’s already listed on Google Business, it will save you a form filling
    3. Once done with form filling, now hit Generate Campaign
    4. Now scroll down to the bottom and insert your email to get all the “keywords” sent directly to your inbox.

Isn’t it quick and easy peasy?

Once it’s done, let’s now talk about the best keywords for restaurants.

The keywords of your business depend on the following

    • Name of your restaurant
    • Cuisines
    • Location
    • The takeaway and delivery Services

For example, you have a restaurant called Yummy Inn in Oxford, UK, serving Indian food. So, you want to run Google ads to increase delivery and takeaway.

    Your Brand keywords

With our mockup example, your keywords would look like this:

    Yummy Inn
    Yummy Inn Oxford
    Yummy Inn Oxford menu
    Yummy Inn best food
    Yummy Inn menu list
    Yummy Inn restaurant Oxford
    Yummy Inn restaurant takeaway
    Yummy Inn delivery options
    Yummy Inn Indian takeaway
    Yummy Inn Indian food
    Yummy Inn Indian Oxford
    Yummy Inn Indian menu
    Yummy Inn Indian restaurant
    Yummy Inn Indian restaurant Oxford
    Yummy Inn Indian restaurant menu

You should always go for brand keywords if your website does not rank number one.

    • It also allows your restaurant to build an online community.
    • Social media allows you to share your recipes and foods online.

So, it’s not enough to only have a company’s website. If your plumbing website is not ranking on top Google pages, you’re losing customers to rival your plumbing services, guaranteed.

Our plumber marketing guide will help your small business to get to the front page of the search results and get more customers.

    Plumber SEO

SEO in Plumbing is a series of tasks aimed to maximize a plumber company’s performance and visibility on search engines.

The word SEO stands for search engine optimization, a fancy way of telling the process of improving your website’s search engine results. Most plumber companies think about SEO for their website only; others also require SEO, Google My Business listings.

If I talk about Plumber SEO (search engine optimization), it is the process of creating and editing code and website content on your plumber company’s website so that every page ranks on one of the search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

    1. Site Code and Structure– Your plumbing website must be coded so search engines can easily find, crawl, and rank all of your website pages. Your website must also be secure, fast, and mobile-friendly.
    2. Onsite Content (On-page SEO)– Your website’s web page must be unique and fully optimized content.
    3. Offsite Factors (Off-page SEO)– If you successfully get high-quality backlinks from other authoritative and relevant plumber websites and also get 5-star reviews on Google My Business listings,  you create a winning SEO strategy for Plumbing.

So, it is no surprise that you need to plan a professionally executed and well-planned SEO strategy to outrank your competitors.

What is a winning SEO strategy for Plumbing?

A survey depicts, 80% of homeowners prefer searching online for hiring a local plumbing service. In the U.S, homeowners perform more than 3.2 million online searches every month for plumbers in their areas.

    Plumber SEO, for example, plumber marketing campaigns, brings sustainable and long-term leads for your company. Let me elaborate;

    • It happens when you improve your keyword rankings for keywords like “plumbing,” “plumber,” “plumbers near me,” “plumbing company,” “hot water heater installation,” and other relevant keywords.
    • Generating more website traffic to your plumber company’s website.
    • You successfully fill the top of your sales funnels with high-quality Plumbing leads directly within your most desired service areas or cities.

Research shows that 47% of clicks go to the top 3 rankings on search engines, while 90% of all clicks happen on the first page. So, if your plumbing company is not on the TOP 3 list, it is certain that you are losing business.

Here’s a list of “Plumbing SEO keywords.”

    What is On-Page SEO?

The most common form of search optimization is on-page SEO. People familiar with search engine optimization often understand the meaning of meta descriptions, keywords, and title tags. Still, they may not know how to properly implement on-page SEO on a website.

Here are the primary features of on-page SEO:

    • Header Tags: H1s, H2s, & H3s, etc
    • Top Keywords: Putting top “Plumbing keywords” within different web pages.
    • Meta Descriptions: Length of meta description, 158 characters.
    • Title Tags: Titles tags shown on search results
    • URL Structure: URLs of your plumbing site displayed in the web address

      Off-Page SEO for Plumbers

Off-page SEO is the marketing efforts you make on other online platforms or forums (other than your website) to attract new customers or engage existing ones. Take a look at the following actions that can improve your SERP ranking.

It won’t be enough to reach the top search results for highly competitive keywords even if you have on-page SEO.

So, to achieve the top rankings in Google searches, you’ll need an off-page SEO strategy. Although off-page SEO techniques are discussed less frequently, it is crucial for digital presence.

Google values authority sites, which you can establish through citation, link building, and review generation.

      • Link Building: Link building means inbound links to your website from external sites.
      • Business Citations: Citations from directories like B.B.B., Angie’s List, & HomeAdvisor.
      • Social Media Platforms: Business profiles on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, & Instagram.

        Local SEO for Plumbing Companies

Over the last decade, local search engine optimization has become increasingly critical for plumbing services.

Moreover, plumber services are one of the top industries for local SEO. We know that Google has integrated location data into their search algorithm to display results based on the searcher’s current location. Additionally, the emergence of WiFi internet access and mobile devices has enabled more relevant search results and more frequent search queries.

Here are some of the primary components of local SEO for plumbing agencies:

        • Google Maps: Verified business location on Google Maps
        • Online Reputation: Branded and optimized profiles throughout the web, preferably with reviews
        • Google My Business: Verified business page on Google My Business
        • Online Reviews: Customer reviews on Google, Facebook, and elsewhere

How to Optimize Your Google Maps Listing?

Learn best strategies for optimizing your Google Places Listing

If you want your plumbing business listed on the Google Map for “Plumber & Your City” and other important keywords, it has 3 main steps.

        1. Having an optimized Google Places Listing.
        2. Establish a consistent profile (N.A.P) via Citation Development.
        3. Maintaining real feedback or reviews from your local customers (e.g., in your service area)

There are several best practices, but let me share how to optimize your Google Maps listing.

        • Agency/ComPany NAME – Use your legal plumbing company name – avoid stuffing additional words  into the “Name Field.” For instance,  your company name is “Su’s Plumbing,” don’t add keywords like “Su’s Plumbing – New York.” Again, this is against the Google Places Guidelines and will reduce the chances of your ranking.
        • ADDRESS – Fill in your “Address Field” with an EXACT legal address. Ensure that you have the same address on your Google Places listing as it is on all the other online directories such as Yelp.com, YellowPages.com, etc.
        • PHONE NUMBER – Always use your real and a local office number rather than a tracking number. Data shows that 800 numbers (tracking numbers) don’t rank well.
        • CATEGORIES – There is an option to use up to 5 categories, so fill all of them.  Pro-tip is to use “Plumber,” “Water Heater Repair Contractor,” and “Plumbing Contractor rather than “Drain Cleaning” or “Plumbing Repair.”
          • Location Settings and SERVICE AREA – Google has 2 options here 1. I serve customers at their location. 2. All customers come to my location; as a home service plumbing business,  you need to select option 1 because you and your staff visit the customer’s location.
          • Video anddd PICTURE SETTINGS – An option allows you to upload up to 5 videos and 10 pictures.  Always use this golden opportunity to upload real photos and authentic content about your plumbing company.

If you follow the best practices to optimize your listings, ensure that you don’t duplicate listings on Google Maps. Because duplicate listings can prevent your new one “Google Listings” from ranking.

To identify duplicate listings, Google for “Plumbing Company Name, City,” as mentioned below.

Once you have a well-optimized Google Maps listing for your plumbing company, the next step is to establish your name, address, phone number (N.A.P) across the web.

          PLUMBING BUSINESS Directories | Citations

If you’re a plumbing company, your goal might be to improve your search visibility and leads.

One of the most effective ways to improve search engine rankings is optimizing N.A.P. directory listings. These citations make it easier for consumers to search and contact your services.

Creating multiple directory listings with names, addresses, and phone numbers can also make better and more compelling content on your Google Homepage. However, choosing the correct online construction and plumbing directories is crucial for maximum results.

Your plumbing business directories are important for your SEO rankings. If you have multiple mentions on the digital world, Google uses them to assess your company’s online authenticity.

          Bottom Line:

Finding customers for a local plumbing company can be challenging, but it’s not impossible! With our plumber marketing guide, we can help you get started with your digital marketing. However, keep in mind that if you don’t practice them regularly, some other plumbing company will take your customers.

Fortunately, we made it easier for plumber startups to give them marketing strategies for their company.

So, it must include some extraordinary marketing tactics. Such as law firm process automation and having a mobile phone application where clients can log in and see updates related to their cases.

With all the crazy technological developments, you need to understand that making a marketing strategy and marketing your services will consume most of your time. So once again, we are here to help you understand how to market your law firm.

Before getting into the details of marketing and how you should do it, let me share statistics that 54% of law firms in the U.S. don’t feel the need to have a marketing budget.

Law firm marketing needs to be divided into multiple below-mentioned sections:

    • Create budget for marketing
    • Design awesome law firm website
    • Ensure your website is search engine optimized
    • Claim your free online profiles
    • Ensure your law firm has a social media presence
    • Manage your law firm’s online feedback or reviews effectively
    • Try content marketing
    • Invest time in networking & business development
    • Measure your law firm marketing success ratio

If you are immediately looking into hiring a web developer, an SEO expert for social media marketing, and optimized content creation. In that case, I want you to step back and look into the following best practices that you should always keep in mind before getting into your organization’s marketing strategy.

You need to be very clear with your agenda on:

    • Making client-centric services.
    • Step by Step, strategically investing in marketing
    • Hire marketing resources only if it is vital
    • Evaluate your marketing strategy

To give you a broader view of marketing schemes for law firms, I will take you into on-ground SEO-optimized techniques.

You should be aware of Google My Business to start it all off. It’s okay if you don’t know or have not worked on it, but this will be a game-changer for your business.

“Google MyBusiness” to Promote Your Law Firm Locally

Your goal needs to be “On the top of the first page in every Google law-related search” to have a good marketing strategy. This can only be done by optimizing your law firm website and researching and planning the right keyword for every legal service you provide.

Why is the first position required? An excellent question with a very simple answer. To have a constant high stream of customers looking for services or solutions to their inquiries, you need a highly optimized website where not only keywords play a vital role, but also your local search contributes a fair share of searches.

Usually, law firms tend to have more clients from their surroundings. This is why you need to ensure that you use local search options for your business to be found. I will introduce you to Google My Business and guide you to promote your business in local searches.

Improve Your Local Search & Raise Your Law Firm Profile

Google My Business helps you display your law firm’s business details without any additional cost at all. The moment you enter your business office address will start appearing on the Google local map search results with your business label. For ease, we need to divide it into the following parts:

    Relevance

Relevance needs to be defined as measuring how your selected keywords for your law firm against the services you provide reflects for Google to rank your business locally. To rank your business higher than others, you need to keep the tags of your services the same as your business.

Using relevance, Google would understand what the website is about and what the content reflects for customers.

    Location

For Google to rank your website higher, the location/ address of your office needs to be updated and accurate. As you are planning to provide services for the local community, authentication of your address is very important. This address needs to be the same in Google maps, your website contact page, and any other social media platform you are using.

If your address is not authentic or verifiable. In that case, chances are Google will not rank you at all or not higher enough for everyone to find you on Google Maps.

    Authority

Now for Google to authenticate your web content, you need to get others to notice you and tag you, including web traffic diversion on your web page. So basically, what Google does is rank those websites higher in search listings recommended more than others because of the available information.

This means that you can manage a high authority index. As a result, your law firm website will be a much higher ranking than those operating in the same industry. So, in short, if you have enabled and used Google My business accurately, you will eventually get more opportunities to rank higher in Google Searches. Following are the three tips to increase your ranking in Google Searches:

    Local Finder

Every time someone looks at your business in Local Finder, your firm, along with its address, will show up. It helps the user see your law firm name displayed promptly rather than others reflecting the road map to reach your office.

    Google Posts

Google continues to update its product. And for Google My Business, the latest upgrade is Google Posts. Google Postsworks as a new update blog pop-up system. It helps to show all the updates, news, and new advertisements when your business is being searched by people.

Let’s get you acquainted with directories. A virtual world is growing so fast that you will be lost somewhere with nothing at hand if you stop growing. This is why I am here to guide you with all the updates you need for your website to be well known and rank on the top of every search.

    Lawyer directories

Web Directories are digital catalogs. They store your information and display it to the people looking for services in web directories. For example, you, a law firm, need to register yourself in a lawyer directory.

Each directory has some marketing schemes for you to choose from. You choose what type of marketing you want the directory to do, pay them accordingly, and the rest is on the directory to market your services. These services usually include ranking in top searches, SEO for your services, and generating online customer reviews.

Here is a list of directories to choose from as per your requirement.

    Avvo

Avvo itself has the highest ranking in legal search responses. This means that not only people are going on Avvo to search for their relevant lawyers, but Avvo is also helping law firms to market their services to a very vast active subscriber base. In addition, Avvo ranks any law firm or lawyers on a client feedback basis.

    Nolo

Nolo is an interactive platform where Nolo lets customers talk to their respective law firm or lawyers for free, eventually leading to an appointment if they are satisfied. In addition to marketing your services, Nolo lets you publish your blogs for user awareness.

    FindLaw

Out of all FindLaw was the first lawyer directory made, and it is now divided into multiple websites. It provides a lawyer directory along with a chat forum where people and lawyers can discuss legal issues. It is a sort of Q&A platform.

By now, you would be asking, “why do I need to pay these lawyer directories when I can market my content”? This is a valid question, but the answer is more related to your revenue than marketing prospects. And here is why you need to be listed in any one of the highly used lawyer directories:

    Lead generation

These directories help you with a possible lead generation by diverting the customer to you, specifically on your website where your services are published. This means you will have a conversation with a possible client who wasn’t looking for you on Google directly. This user could have gone to anyone if you were not present on that lawyer directory.

    Local SEO

Similar to Lead Generation, these directories help you lead SEO as well. They market your services to people looking for guidance on those directories rather than using Google Searches.

    Backlinks for SEO

As a result of lead generation and Local SEO, your web traffic will increase within days by backlinks you have used for your SEO marketing skills on the directories.

    Bottom Line

Having said all this, an effective marketing strategy shows who you are, what you can do, how much you consider for your client, and why someone should choose you to represent them in a legal case.

All of this is done by developing and executing a marvelously crafted marketing campaign to spread around the news of your presence with catchy, attractive slogans.

This is the ultimate guide to equip yourself with all the components for marketing your law firm. We discussed digital marketing, SEO, content management, lawyer directories, Google My Business, advertisement platforms, and whatever comes in between all these.

In the end, I am sure that you can understand the marketing requirements for your law firm. And you would be ready to follow the steps and make your marketing strategy by making measurable project points to gauge your marketing efforts.

I will be looking forward to your replies and questions in the comment section, if any. But, first, let me know if you still believe that you would survive without a good marketing strategy. Then, go through this guide again and convince me of your reasons for not having a marketing strategy for your law firm.

  • Content Marketing Guide for Real-Estate Agents

When you hear “content marketing,” you probably think about blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube viral videos.

Well, content marketing is a lot older than the internet.

    You wanna know How?

Humans have always been telling stories, and storytelling is at the heart of content marketing. Great stories will always catch our attention.

In 1982, Hasbro and Marvel teamed up to launch G.I. Joe – A Real American Hero“, their marketing strategy was simple.

Their goal was to make their action figures have a backstory like Kenner Toy Company’s Star Wars action figures.

Within 2 months of releasing the first comic book, almost 20% of their target audience, boys aged five to twelve, had G.I. Joe toys.

The comic book had only 2 stories at the time.

Almost seven years later, the series was one of Marvel’s most popular titles, and two out of three boys had a G.I. Joe action figure.

So that’s how you market a product with content!

Things have changed since then, so what worked back then won’t necessarily work today.

Nevertheless, a lot of new marketing channels are popping up like social media every day.

Here’s a content marketing guide so let’s get started.

    1.  REASONS for COMPREHENSIVE REAL ESTATE CONTENT MARKETING PLAN

It’s true that “content marketing” was initially coined quite some time ago. However, it’s still a relatively unexplored concept in the Age of the Internet, including for many agents and brokers today.

In spite of this, there are a significant number of the roughly 2 million licensed real estate professionals nationwide who have at least begun marketing their businesses online, and especially with quality, original, relevant, search-engine-friendly content.

There are brokers and agents across the U.S. and Canada who use content marketing to generate new leads, make referrals, nurture prospects, and, ultimately, turn these people into clients.

According to content marketers, leads generated from content marketing are better than those generated from paid ads.

In addition to regular blog posts that educate and inform their audiences about buying and selling, reports, guides, and infographics that highlight local housing trends and market features, modern REALTORS (that’s you!) can create effective content often to build their brands and businesses.

Now the question is, How do other agents and brokers conquer content marketing?

And how can you do the same (and even better)?

Share your industry expertise on your website.

By sharing it regularly with easy-to-digest digital resources, you will be able to leverage them in your email marketing and social media.

All of which you will learn how to do below.

    2.  Goals for content creation

You want great content to grow your business, right? But let’s talk about what that means.

If you want your real estate business to grow, you need to:

    • Find more new leads
    • with the goal of converting them into clients
    • so you can get more sales
    • Build existing customer relationships for more work or more referrals
    • Beat your competition

Naturally, your content should help you make these things happen-but making valuable content isn’t all about you. It’s about your audience and their audience too.

Your content must serve your customers’ needs and be compelling enough to keep them coming back.

Here are some ideas for doing it.

    3.  A Great Website is the First Step

Even though we’re mostly concerned with the substance when it comes to content creation, it’s important not to forget the form-the look and feel of your website. When it comes to your website design, you want to make sure the visitors get the feeling that you care about your online image and have invested time and money into it. Visitors’ first impression of your site will impact their first impression of your content.

Here are a few things to look for when designing your blog or website.

    • Make it simple. There’s no need to fill every inch of empty space on your site with images and icons. And stay away from all those fancy animations. Rather than attract users to your content, these might just distract them. Just keep things simple. Your content should speak for itself.
    • Make sure it’s easy to navigate. Don’t forget to let visitors know where to go, what to do, and how to find stuff. Keep icons and text large. Choose a readable font. Clearly label everything. Get inspiration from your favorite websites.
    • Make it easy to find stuff. Beyond the content, people come to your website to search for properties, so make it easy and fast for them. The ease of searching Google, Trulia, Zillow, and Amazon has grown on consumers. Now they expect your site to be easy to use too. Give your customers a seamless experience, don’t rely on old technology. You have an open house on the web. Make it the best you’ve ever had.
    • Make it clickable. Whenever you shop on Amazon or Zappos, you’re getting the next click opportunity. Here, the site suggests the next thing you might want to click on like it’s reading your mind. This house might suit 20th-century modern tastes!””” It’s a way to keep consumers engaged so they can discover what’s available and find what they want.
    • Ensure it’s simple to share. Sharing doesn’t have to be social media. I know that’s important when it comes to sharing your great content. However, people are very cautious about disclosing their personal finances and home search preferences to the world. They’d instead share it with just a handful of friends. They’ll share it with their spouse, sister, lawyer, or best friend. You’ve got to make it easy for them. Make it easy for your customers to share their favorite houses with their friends and family.
    • Connect your blog and website. First, put a link to your blog in the navigation bar on your main site if you can’t integrate your blog into it. Then, put the same on your blog. Make sure both sites look the same, so visitors know they’re connected.
    • Get some help. You can save time and money by hiring a professional or using a platform like WordPress.

    4.  Content marketing ideas for real estate

Content marketing is all about quality over quantity. By generating content that potential business leads are interested in, agents will see a higher return on investment.

Think about your overall strategy for content before you sit down and brainstorm.

What’s the best way for prospects to find your content?

Will you use a particular platform?

    Here are some common channels:

    • SEO (search engine optimization
    • Social media
    • Groups on Facebook
    • Co-creation of content

If you focus on one or two channels, you’ll be able to develop content ideas that will work.

When it comes to SEO, use keyword research tools like Ahrefs and Google Ads Planner to identify topics people search for that relate to your business.

Whether you’re focusing on social media, communities, or co-creation, find out what your audience frequently discusses and think of content you can create that will be useful and relevant for them.

    5.  Invest in a good writer

At some point, we’ve all been drawn to some clickbait content, usually by an enticing headline.

We’ve all realized, by now, that stuff that claims to be jaw-dropping (like, “You won’t believe what happened when this 3rd grader opened his lunch”) isn’t worth clicking.

Your real estate clients want content with more substance information relevant to their industry. To get that, you need copywriters.

Someone on your team might know how to write good articles about rent rates, homeownership, and mortgages.

If you need help with content, you can hire a PR firm or real estate marketing company.

    You gotta publish something, right?

When it comes to property marketing, whether it’s an apartment in Chicago, Illinois, or a New York City micro-apartment, website copy, blogs, and newsletters are a great place to start.

    • Make sure your website is up-to-date and has a fresh copy if it has been around for a while.
    • Put up a blog post at least once a week, and make it better than what everyone else is posting.
    • You can spread the word via newsletters, and many real estate agents still use the postal service.
    • Have a look at a list of the best real estate blogs for a few shining examples.
    • Remember that content marketing is more than just blogging once you’ve mastered the basics.

Social media works best with visual content such as infographics, photos, and videos. They make it easy to explain complicated ideas.

Making an infographic or video from a blog post is also a great way to improve your email marketing and provide engaging content to readers who don’t have time to read the whole thing.

Lead generation tools like ebooks or webinars are also effective.

Give them a guide to buying or investing in a home and ask for their name and email.

Create an email campaign to nurture your new contacts into your next client.

Do you know what to say?

It’s critical to make it clear who you are and what you do.

You can write a blog about anything your clients are interested in, like:

    • Using less energy
    • Tips on mowing your lawn
    • How to winterize your place
    • Trends in interest rates
    • Pitfalls in financing
    • You should be more specific in your newsletters:
    • Check out the updated listings
    • Trends in the market
    • Trends in finance
    • Economic forecasts
    • Sales in the last week
    • Every month, you can highlight a relevant, timely topic like:
    • Pest control in the summer
    • HVAC preventative maintenance
    • Gutter cleaning
    • Winterizing your lawnmower

You can either write or create visual content for your content.

    6. Subject Ideas of Real Estate Content

If you do not know what the subject of your content should be, you could try the following:

    • How-to posts or videos that provide step-by-step instructions
    • Social media posts that inspire
    • property & point of interest videos
    • List posts (example: Top 10… /10 quick…)
    • Local news and events
    • Relocation Guides
    • Tricks and tips
    • How to fix common problems
    • Ebooks

    Bottom Line:

Detailed, relevant, SEO-friendly content is an important part of marketing a business for real estate agents.

Modern real estate professionals utilize paid advertising, public relations, and even offline promotion (mailers, billboards, etc.)

Agents and brokers benefit from an organized, consistent content strategy in many ways

    • cost-effective lead generation and nurturing,
    • gradual search ranking improvements,
    • easy brand awareness building

And the list goes on, so it’s vital to start creating content today.

Your content marketing plan will survive in the long run if you are patient and persistent.

There are fewer full-time REALTORS today who can claim they have earned dozens of high-quality leads within the first couple of weeks.

By focusing on your content marketing in the long run, you’ll most certainly see the fruits of your labor – and your business will grow significantly.

Let’s not miss this opportunity and find your main objective.  Then, put a button that clearly defines your goal and tells the visitor exactly what to do.

    2. Mouthwatering Food Videos and Pictures

When your potential customer is searching for “Chinese restaurants near me” and your restaurant appears on top results, the first thing that will catch their eye is what they’re hungry for Chinese food pictures or videos.

Many restaurants take pictures of their food on their phones. Unfortunately, they’re not in high-quality lighting; photos are blurred and grainy.

With increased visual recommendations, spend your time and money on professional photography that shows your culinary skills to broaden your digital presence.

It can be overwhelming to engage yourself between styling, props, and lighting; hence, the best thing is to find professionals to take high-quality photos and mark your strong web presence.

In addition to your food photos, share photos of the interior of your restaurant. This will set the overall vibe of your restaurant and proper expectations of the ambiance.

The most important part is to include alt tags on all of your website images. One of the easiest ways to rank in search engines is by your photos. The alt tag, also known as “alt description” or “alt attribute,” tells the search engines what this photo is about.

Moreover, don’t forget to capture and share photos of your dining room filled with happy customers. Pictures of restaurants with no one in them look crappy, and it seems like no one goes there. Show your customer a snapshot of the products and experience they’ll get if they come with their loved ones.

Remember; stock photos you find online aren’t something you can get away with when it comes to meals. People now want to see what YOUR PIZZA looks like, not what a TYPICAL pizza looks like.

    3. Show Reviews and Testimonials

People now have short attention spans and so aren’t going to spend 10 or 15 minutes reading restaurant reviews.

If someone tells you that, don’t let this fool you.

Testimonials and reviews are important, so showcase them on your restaurant website.

When you post more than 5 reviews on your website, you’re no longer showing authority, but you’re bragging. People don’t bother about the long list of praise you’ve gotten. Instead, they care about how you will satisfy their “Hunger.”

Your reviews will boost restaurant credibility and encourage more customers to visit your restaurant if they have never been there before.

No testimonials yet? That’s completely ok.

Encourage diners to write reviews for your business. They’ll help and encourage potential customers to choose your restaurant.

    4. Responsive & Mobile-Friendly Restaurant Website

More than 80% of your potential diners are finding you on their phones when they’re hungry. So your customers must get everything they need from mobiles.

Responsive web designs are usually “mobile-friendly,” as they adapt to all screen sizes. Make sure your website is easy to navigate and create a customer-centric design.

Put all the key information on your website, such as events, pricing, pictures, menus, and make it easy to use.

    5. Add Menu with Prices

The most frustrating thing is to search on Google for a specific restaurant; go to their site, and you can’t find its menu with pricing.

Customers hope to see a restaurants’ menu with prices on it.

When a person lands on your website, make sure there is a menu button that is clearly visible where people can easily find a menu with pricing.

A menu helps potential customers see what you have to offer. Some customers feel comfortable knowing the price of meals in advance of ordering them.

    6. Email subscription sign up

Find a way to capture details of your visitors—moreover, it’s a better way to invite future communications with a quick email sign-up.

This Ignored and simple-looking tool can boost your restaurant website’s user engagement. But, you don’t want to overdo it or become a nuisance or distraction to your visitors.

    7. Special Deals

If you have special deals, you need to communicate this via your website. This gives a better incentive for new customers to try your restaurant out.

If you don’t have special offers or deals, consider featuring 3-4 of your “Most Popular” menu items and include their pricing next to it.

    8.  Include Other Services Page

Many restaurants offer a special page of “other food services” for their customers. For instance, these may include delivery services, culinary classes, catering, food trucks, etc.

No matter what unique service (items) you might offer your customers, be sure to include the information when designing website copy for your restaurant.

Let’s say you offer catering services for private events, so add this info on your website.

    9. Include Reservations/Book My Table Button

Trying to book a table for your family gathering at your favorite restaurant should be a piece of cake.

Be specific and clarify if you don’t take reservations for less than 8 or more than 8.

    10. Add Your Contact Information

    Imagine creating a fantastic website, and it’s missing the following;

    • Your restaurant phone number
    • An Email address
    • Address or a map with directions on how to find your restaurant.

Often customers will call to change or confirm a reservation, find out more info about your menu. So clearly display your restaurant’s contact details (phone number and email address) clearly in the footer or navigation of your homepage.

    11. Link to Your Social Media Platforms

People are constantly taking pictures of their food and sharing them with their friends and family. Be sure to have a Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and, Google My Business account.

You can capture all of those pictures and engage with your potential customers digitally.

    12. Update Your Blog

Adding a blog section to your restaurant websites will help you in search engine optimization, updates and trends, and building email subscribers.

Not sure what to cover in the “blog” section? Here are some ideas:  featured menu lists or special deals on menu items, FAQs, private dining or catering services detail, event announcements, and employee spotlights.

    Bottom Line

    Having a low quality or poor website design can destroy your restaurant business. So make sure to follow this checklist while designing your restaurant website copy;

    • Include CTA Buttons
    • Upload Mouthwatering Food Videos and Pictures
    • Show Reviews and Testimonials
    • Responsive & Mobile-Friendly Restaurant Website
    • Add Menu with Prices
    • Email subscription sign up
    • Special Deals
    • Include Other Services Page
    • Include Reservations/Book My Table Button
    • Add Your Contact Information
    • Link to Your Social Media Platforms
    • Update Your Blog

So, if you want to sell your high-quality dining experience, your restaurant website design should also be of supreme quality.

Remember, the first impression always matters, and once people make an opinion about your food and services, it’s nearly impossible to change their minds.

    Search Engine Results Page (SERP)

To get SEO for your law firm, you must understand what SERPs are and what can they do for your business. So SERPs are referred to the advertisements/ searches that appear on top of theGoogle search result page. SERPs can be divided into the following sections:

    Local Service Ads

Starting with LSAs. These are locally published ads available for display at the top of the search content. These Ads run on a Pay per Lead basis. The following snapshot is an example of how Local Service Ads. You have focused on getting your law firm published in Local Service Ads.

    Google Search Ads

Next up is Google Search Ads. These are the ads that Google displays to its users in return for the search questions asked. These are usually displayed below the Local Search Results. Still, there is nothing to show in Local search results other than these ads displayed on top of the page.

The following snapshot is an example of how Local Service Ads appear in Google Search. You need to ensure that your law firm is listed in the top 3 Ads to attract new customers.

    In addition to these factors depending on your website SERP, some other important factors which play a vital role are following;

    • Local search results (where you use google maps to let people see your locality and addresses)
    • Organic Search Results (where you get your business website listed on the first page of google search)
    • Local Panel displays information about your law firm and might also be referred to Google’s My Business profile.

Your next question will be about SEO and its ranking factors. So let’s take a dive into the Google Ranking factor and see what impacts the most.

Google ranking factors on law firm seo

Google ranking is based on the following parts:

    Content

Content refers to anything written, displayed in pictures, or presented in the form of videos to demonstrate a firm’s business on their official website homepage. This content will be seen by your potential customers, which is why the content on your website homepage needs to be written originally.

The content must be informative and easy to understand, following your law firm’s services as a key ranking factor. Therefore, your website’s home page content should be divided into multiple sections. Each section should represent one topic specifically and with focused keywords.

    Hyperlinks & Link Building

Hyperlinks and link building are used to calculate a web page’s credibility. SEO for lawyers can help you get high-quality and reputable backlinks. Content-based on high quality, extreme relevance, and quantity matters.

Here, you must consider what quality, relevance, and quantity have to do with SEO for law firms? There is nothing technical, so here is what these areas do. These can be understood by going through the Google guidelines:

    • Quality: You need to ask if your website has a high PageRank.
    • Relevance: Please ensure that the content on the homepage of your business website reflects your services.
    • Quantity: This is the simplest one; you need to know how much good quality content with relevant links your website got back. Always remember that every website that refers to your website increases the authority of your services.

    Domain Factors

Last but not least, now we will be discussing the domain factor. This is the third most important ranking factor. The website domain is divided into three sections which are as follows:

    • Keyword Usage: this helps to show relevancy and is considered effective if the keyword is the same as the domain name’s first word.
    • Domain Authority: You have to establish your domain authority with hyperlinks and back connects.
    • Domain History: Domain history lets Google understand your website’s ranking and look for issues if any.

    Keyword Research

Keyword research helps you understand the intent of people on any particular day. The results help you know what kinds of services people are curious about and how to link that with your targeted business.

    Need for keyword research

Keyword research is the only method to look for legal services people want to see and are searching about. You can find keywords using multiple platforms: search engines and social media platforms.

So, keyword research is the only way to stop yourself from putting effort into something that has not been searched or is not required by the people at that time.

Would you like to see what keywords can do? Here is an example for you to understand the power of keywords and what well-researched keywords can do.

    Return on Investment

I will leave this to you to decide. There are two factors for you to consider.

First, are you happy with your word-of-mouth advertisement?

If not, then why not invest in SEO for your website to attract new business from people looking here, there, and everywhere on the internet for a good legal representation.

    Bottom Line

SEO for your law firm can help you rank higher in the Google search engines. Which means that more people will be able to find you. And the best part is that SEO services are affordable, so they’re a great investment for your law firm.

SEO uses specialized words and statements, which helps you rank your business websites in the top positions of Google Searches. SEO is a tactic used by everyone these days. Since these services are easily accessible and inexpensive, everyone calls themselves experts. So watch out for the frauds.

Highly optimized SEO for your law firm can be intimidating. It’s a whole new dimension with a lot of overwhelming checks and balances. To grow your business, you have to expand your business on the internet and rank in the top searching places as well. Otherwise, unfortunately, you won’t compete at all.

Content on the homepage of your law firm’s website is a customer attraction/ facilitation point. Therefore, you need to ensure that the content on the home page is easy to understand and helps you get new clients. This content should also help you make your potential clients into permanent clients.

I hope this article serves you rightfully with all the instructions to use SEO services for your law business in your favor. I will be looking forward to your replies and questions in the comment section, if any.

Let me know if you still believe that being a lawyer or owning a law firm will benefit you without having your online presence.

How would you be able to survive in this techy world as a lawyer with only word-of-mouth marketing? Then, go through this again and convince me of your reasons for not using SEO services to grow your business.

You have to make people go crazy for you and look for you. Then, you have to market your skills in ways no one has ever done before. This is when everyone will know what a hot shot of a lawyer you are.

  • 11 Most Popular Marketing Ideas for your restaurants

It’s no surprise that people take to the internet to find new restaurants, browse menus, make reservations, and write reviews.

In today’s digital world, marketing your restaurant can sometimes be tricky.

That means you need creative and new restaurant marketing ideas to grab customers in and keep them coming back again and again.

Before you dive into popular marketing ideas for your audience, you need to define your target customers.

Are you targeting millennials, families with kids, or the older generation?

This step is most important before you can begin marketing with your popular restaurant marketing ideas. Without defining your audience, you can’t possibly build a winning advertising campaign.

So, the more clearly you define your target customers, the easier it will be to create ads, content, and emails.

For instance, if you are a restaurant marketing to millennials, you need to produce content that attracts them.

Chipotle posts target millennial eaters, who are always coming up with new ways to express words.

Their posts are humorous and get the point across that their food is still yummy no matter how you eat.

Using relatable expressions help your brand align with your audience and help your restaurant marketing.

I can bet, if you are craving a burrito, this ad will be on your mind.

No matter where your restaurant is located, the restaurant business is highly competitive. There are dozens of competitors nearby that are all fighting to target the same customers. That’s why it’s essential to use unique and creative marketing ideas to stand out from nearby restaurants.

So to help your restaurant get noticed, here are 11 creative marketing ideas.

    1. Social media Contests and Challenges

Do you love winning free stuff and contests on social media? I know your answer would be “yes.” It’s a fun way to promote your food brand.

Experiment with a giveaway contest where you can ask foodies to tag their dining partners.

This will help you grow more followers, boost your restaurant visibility, and get more customers to try your food.

If the winner has never tried your restaurant before, it will give them a chance to try your food risk-free.

    2. Use of Hashtags

Why are “Hashtags” important for your restaurant marketing?

Hashtags are a great tool to help you build your brand awareness, get new customers and increase engagement.

When your potential customers see your restaurant name or logo, they want their minds to know

    • what your restaurant/brand stands for.
    • What type of food do you serve?
    • Where to find your restaurant.

If you are using your restaurant hashtags consistently, it will encourage your customers to use them as well. And this results in building a community of customers.

Once your hashtag gains popularity, you will grow your customer base and get your online followers walking in your doors!

Pro Tip: Always use popular hashtags combined with your niche hashtags. Because if you only use the most popular hashtags, your post will get lost in the millions and never stand out.

    3. User-Generated Content

Content that your followers post can make your life a whole lot easier; you save money and time.

Research shows that 92% of people prefer and trust recommendations from their community over marketing content.

Usually, people don’t appreciate sales content from marketers. They trust words of mouth. So share content that people post to promote your brand awareness.

You will likely have tons of user-generated content as a restaurant because people love to take and share food photos.

Content or posts by customers is typically an indicator of a reliable and trustworthy brand.

Using your followers’ content helps you interact with people on a human level and shows authenticity as a restaurant.

Let me tell you a real story. Starbucks, in 2014, wanted to make a new design for their limited edition “coffee cup.” So, they decided that instead of wasting their money and time designing, they would ask their loyal customers to create one for them.

They asked their consumers to submit photos of their cups with the hashtag #whitecupcontest.

And they announced that the winner would receive $300 as well as have their cup featured.

Don’t you think it’s an ultimate combination of creative restaurant marketing ideas?

    4. Don’t ignore the Local SEO

If you are looking for a creative restaurant marketing idea, don’t miss that out!

Local SEO for restaurants is very important because when potential customers search their local area and don’t show up,  you won’t be able to get much business.

What should be your goal for Local SEO?

To rank in your local area, let’s say when users search a specific keyword like “best burger,” your restaurant should be on the top 3 Google map spots.

Only the top 3-5 restaurants will receive the most traffic because they appear first when a user searches specific keywords

    5. Get good reviews

Good reviews build trust in your potential buyers. So, encourage people to review your business on Google, Yelp, Facebook, or all the other platforms you use.

    6. Web design for restaurants

A top-notch restaurant web design lets you begin the dining experience before the customer even walks into your restaurant.

Use your website to show diners the ambiance, as well as your menu items. Also, make sure that your website is mobile-friendly.

Create Sponsored Ads or Boost Posts

If you’re creating posts on social media, you also need to create sponsored ads or spend some bucks to boost your posts. Facebook is more like a “pay to play” site.

Some of your customers may see your post, but you need to have an advertising budget to spread the word about your brand.

Moreover, when you boost your posts, you can choose your location,  target audience, and much more.

Pro Tip: If you have ever spent money on newspaper ads, magazine ads, or billboards, your social media ad budget will be less as compared to these old-school forms of advertising.

    7. Social Media Monitoring

SMM consists of checking your feedbacks and reviews on various platforms, reading comments, and replying to tagged posts.

You should know what people are saying about your restaurant on social platforms?

As a restaurant owner or manager, you need to double-check anything your restaurant is tagged in or any comments. This is crucial to filter out spam comments or correct misleading info posts.

    8. Loyalty Program to Increase Your Sales

The best way to start a loyalty program with your customers is to obtain their emails.

No doubt, loyalty programs help you to increase your sales.

You can obtain your customers’ emails easily through a landing page pop-up, social media campaign, or website.

Do a giveaway for anyone who makes 10 consecutive purchases, a cup, or you can offer FOOD discounts for six months.

    9. Pin your food photos on Pinterest

Pinterest allows you to pin your favorite food photos to link to your social platforms or website.

This is a great marketing cycle for your restaurant, as pins are constantly being pinned and repined.

Don’t forget to attach your restaurant name to your pins; this will help people discover your brand.

    10. Work with influencers

Now tap into your foodie market and get them to post food photos. Influencers are the public figures who already have a huge following that typically listens to their suggestions and advice.

Invite influencers to come and try your restaurant and ask them to post food photos or their reviews about your restaurant for their followers to see.

Getting a food influencer in your restaurant can give you the upper hand in your competition.

    11. Insta-worthy Food

Millennials go to restaurants and bars just to photograph the food for their Instagram.

In short, If you post beautiful food photos on your page, you can attract your target audience and build authority.

Always come up with something unique and creative that other restaurants haven’t done yet.

Have a signature drink that stands out, also take a fantastic photo of it.

Do you need some food photography tips?

    • Make sure photos of your food to be clean, clear, and sharp. A low-quality photo lacks professionalism, whereas a high-quality food photo will make your audience want to try your food.
    • Don’t post the same pictures over and over again with different dishes.

Pro Tip: Don’t just share pictures of your food; make sure to capture and show the atmosphere and ambiance as well.

    Bottom Line:

Lastly, one of the most important tips or creative restaurant marketing ideas I’ll give you is to stay flexible in marketing.
